5 Minute Shallot Salad Dressing
Ingredients

- 1 shallot, minced
- 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Aleppo pepper
- Salt, to taste
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tablespoon honey
Instructions
- Prepare the Shallots
Dice the shallot and place it in a small bowl. Cover with the apple cider vinegar and let it sit for 5 minutes to soften and mellow. - Mix the Dressing
Add the Aleppo pepper, salt, lemon juice, and olive oil to the shallot mixture. Whisk everything together until well combined. - Taste and Adjust
Taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning as needed. If you prefer a sweeter dressing, add honey to taste and whisk again. - Serve
Pour the dressing over your salad or dish, toss to combine, and enjoy!
Note: Sometimes I use a combo of olive oil and chili olive oil from Brightland.
