1 whole orange
1 bag of fresh cranberries
1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar
Leaving the skin on your orange cut in half and cut each half into quarters and then half again. (You should have 8-10 pieces). Place the orange into a Cuisinart.
Place your cranberries into a strainer and rinse under cold water, pick out any that are bad. Dry well and add to the Cuisinart.
Add your sugar into the Cuisinart and using the chopping blade pulse 8 to 10 times until everything has broken down but has not turned to mush.
Pour into a glass jar and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
I like to make this 5 days before Thanksgiving, the taste gets better over time. You can incorporate more sugar in the days to come if you want it to be sweeter.
