The Only Cranberry Sauce You’ll Need
1 bag of fresh cranberries
1 whole orange
1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar
Place your cranberries into a strainer and rinse under cold water, pick out any that are bad. Dry well and set aside.
Leaving the skin on your orange cut into half and cut each half into quarters.
Place your cranberries, orange segments, and sugar into your Cuisinart using the chopping blade pulse 8 to 10 times until everything has broken down but has not turned to mush.
Pour into a glass jar and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
I like to make this 5 days before Thanksgiving, the taste gets better over time. You can incorporate more sugar in the days to come if you want it to be sweeter.
