Green Beans With Chili Oil

1 lb green beans ends removed

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons S&B chili oil with crunchy garlic

1/2 lime, juiced

A handful of basil leaves or flowers

1/2 lime cut into wedges for serving

Instructions

Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add the sesame oil. Once the oil is hot add the beans, leaving them undisturbed for 3 to 5 mins until they start to sear. Add salt and pepper and stir the beans so they begin to cook evenly. After a few minutes place a tablespoon of water into the pan, turn the heat down to medium-low, and place a tight-fitting lid over the pan. This will steam the beans until fully cooked and this should only take a couple of minutes.

Remove the lid and add the S&B chili oil and lime juice; toss to combine.

Transfer to a serving dish, add basil leaves or flowers, and serve with remaining lime wedges.
